Explore Morgantown, KY – Take Photos & Have Fun!
October 15–17, 2025
How to Play:
• Solve each riddle to find the location.
• Visit the location and take a creative photo that includes YOU (or your team) clearly visible in the picture at or near the location.
• Submit your photos either:
– In person at the Butler County Extension Office during business hours
– Online using the form (link provided on event page and flyers)
Photo Tips:
• Be creative — selfies, group photos, or fun poses!
• Make sure the location or a recognizable feature is visible in the photo.
• Photos without participants won’t count as proof.
Riddles — Find and Photograph Each Spot:
1. Stitched through time with pillars tall, This place has witnessed it all. Where laws are written and voices rise, A patch in our town that never dies.
2. Woven with tales from long ago, Of steamboats, floods, and river’s flow. Each object here, a thread of grace, Preserves the soul of this proud place.
3. A patch of green in a quilt of town, Where leaves fall soft and children clown. A space for laughter, rest, and play — A stitched-together kind of day.
4. Warm mugs meet in morning light, With cozy chats that feel just right. Like threads that bind from near and far, This coffeehouse is our morning star.
5. Here, every wrinkle tells a tale, Of love, of loss, of winds that sail. A place where wisdom gently stays, Stitched from countless yesterdays.
6. Where numbers dance and ledgers run, And future dreams are safely spun. Behind the counters, neat and bright, Are threads of trust held good and tight.
7. A hometown store with charm and thread, Where fabric dreams are softly spread. From denim blue to Sunday best, This stitched-up stop outshines the rest.
8. Layers rich and crusts so fine, Each slice a story by design. A recipe of love well-spun — A stitched dessert for everyone.
9. Between the covers, threads unwind, Of far-off lands and curious minds. With every page and whispered word, A stitched-together world is heard.
10. From gardens grown to lessons taught, With every seed and skill well sought. They stitch together home and land, With helping hearts and guiding hands.

14. Nails and hammers, paint and screws, Fixing things, they’ve got your clues. A hardware stop to stitch repairs, Building dreams with skilled care.
15. Beneath a steeple reaching high, Where voices lift and spirits fly. A place of faith, where hearts unite, A stitched community shining bright.

Please submit your scavenger hunt photos Friday, October 17 @ Noon to be eligible for prizes!
• In-Person: Bring your photos on your phone or printed to the Butler County Extension Office at 102 Parkway Lane, Morgantown, KY 42261.
